It's a half an inch of water and you think you're gonna drown

Oh friends. Send loving thoughts this way. Tonight I'm going to the hospital with a woman who will be delivering her full-term stillborn baby. So, so sad.

Hope all goes as well and with as much respect as possible.
She is very lucky to have someone present to help her through what will likely be a very difficult time.
Best wishes Doulicia and peace be with the family you are attending.

OMIGOSH...I have been with client through miscarriages (a few times) but haven't evern had to support a client like that...I am so sorry to hear about this and hope you will vent to us here or in e-mail or on phone if you need support. It's as hard (in a different way, of course) on a doula when we support at difficult or sad births.

Hugs, Hh

...that's the way that the world goes 'round.
It's so sad and unfair. I'm glad she has some support in this.
